Synchronization of linear multi-agent systems under input saturation

چکیده
This paper is concerned with state synchronization of linear agents subject to input saturation over a fixed undirected communication graph. We first derive a sufficient condition for achieving the synchronization via relative state feedback control law for any initial condition. Based on this analysis result, we present a linear matrix inequality (LMI) condition for designing the synchronizing state feedback gain. The present LMI condition is scalable as long as we can calculate the eigenvalues of the Laplacian of the communication graph, and is readily solved by an existing convex programming algorithm. Keywords— multi-agent system, synchronization, input saturation, linear matrix inequality

Optimal adaptive leader-follower consensus of linear multi-agent systems: Known and unknown dynamics
In this paper, the optimal adaptive leader-follower consensus of linear continuous time multi-agent systems is considered. The error dynamics of each player depends on its neighbors’ information. Detailed analysis of online optimal leader-follower consensus under known and unknown dynamics is presented. The introduced reinforcement learning-based algorithms learn online the approximate solution...
متن کاملFinite-time Flocking of Multi-agent System with Input Saturation
In this paper a finite-time flocking of multi-agent system with input saturation is investigated. By introducing a new control protocol, it is show that speed and position of agents with double-integrator dynamics converge to the speed and position of leader in finite time. It is assumed that the graph between the agents is connected and that at least one agent is informed of the leader speed a...
متن کاملGlobal consensus for discrete-time multi-agent systems with input saturation constraints
In this paper, we consider the global consensus problem for discrete-time multi-agent systems with input saturation constraints under fixed undirected topologies. We first give necessary conditions for achieving global consensus via a distributed protocol based on relative state measurements of the agent itself and its neighboring agents. We then focus on two special cases, where the agent mode...

This paper investigates the problem of coordinated tracking of a linear multi-agent system subject to actuator magnitude saturation and dead zone characteristic with input additive uncertainties and disturbances. Distributed consensus and swarm tracking protocols are developed from a low-and-high gain feedback approach. Under the assumption that each agent is asymptotically null controllable wi...

In this paper, the problems of semi-global leaderless consensus for continuous-time multi-agent systems under input saturation restraints are investigated. We consider the leaderless consensus problems under fixed undirected communication topology. New necessary synthesis conditions are established for achieving semi-global leaderless consensus via the distributed adaptive protocols, which is d...
